WLTS - our new temporary labour service

Launched in March 2021, WLTS is our new initiative to deliver temporary labour and recruitment services to businesses. 
 

It’s designed to help the recruitment challenges the UK faces in dealing with the ‘new normal’ of getting people back into employment, while at the same time co-existing with coronavirus and its variants.

Why WLTS?
 

WLTS benefits from the development of bespoke recruitment software that manages the applications of more than 22,000 workers.  
 

WLTS has a strong relationship with its sister company, SSGC, having access to its extensive vetting solution. Every worker deployed undergoes a criminality check as part of its standard service.
 

UK corporations spend more than £1 billion per year on security, yet they open the door to more than 10 per cent of their workforce without any checks through agency agreements.  More than 20 per cent of adults in the UK have a criminal conviction, so all of our applicants are checked for their right to work. 

How does it work?

The service specialises in trusted and rapid mobilisation of personnel to all sectors:
 

 

  • Experienced, vetted marshalling and stewarding personnel for the hospitality, conference and events market 

  • Distribution centre staff for logistics businesses to help with the increase in online sales 

  • Security personnel at bricks and mortar retail outlets

 

The service can also reach out to HR professionals needing neutral vendor support to access a wide range of staff, rather than having to go through various temp agencies.

WLTS specialises in handling complex vetting requirements:
 

  • DBS checks

  • BPSS – the government’s baseline security standard 

  • BS7858 – the security benchmark approved by the British Standards Institute (BSI)
